Sword Venom

The Sword Venom is an all new long pimple rubber for the versatile defensive player with the focus on maximum disruptive effect.
The studs are quite wide and also very grippy. The distance between the studs is quite large, the studs are placed vertically instead of horizontally.
This allows the Venom to generate an extremely high level of interference, but is also aimed at more experienced players.
The Venom is not suitable for players who prefer only the passive block game at the table. Active disruptive play and backspin defense close to the table are required, as well as a generally versatile way of playing.
The Venom is quite strong when it comes to backspin defense, especially when combined with slower frames.
The block game is also surprisingly possible, because the combination of the softer and elastic rubber compound with the relatively wide studs gives quite good control. The Venom's strengths lie more in the active block game than in the passive.
The 0.8mm version of the underlayment is medium hard and good quality, as is the overall quality of the finish on the Venom. The studs are also very robust.
