VEGA X - In celebration of VEGA’s 10th Anniversary
Table tennis players from around the world have experienced and appreciated the "VEGA" rubber series over the past decade. VEGA made its reputation for excellent performance at reasonable price. Nevertheless, XIOM has constantly made an effort to innovate VEGA rubber series.
Now XIOM proudly releases VEGA X. While maintaining the strength of VEGA PRO, we’ve upgraded the overall performance. It is the perfective rubber in every way.
The sponge is quite hard (47,5°) and non-reactive. What you put in, is what you get. In the short-short game over the table and at passive strokes the rubber will act slow. At fast movements and when hit with power, the rubber will be fast. This transition from slow to fast is very smooth and linear. There are no unpleasant, surprising reactions from the rubber. This helps to build a relationship and trust to the rubber.
The basic formula of VEGA X is based on VEGA PRO. But the top sheet has been upgraded to the latest architectural structure. It brings more aggressive feature while maintaining the balance. Players using VEGA PRO can quickly adapt to the VEGA X - and immediately experience the performance boost.
Compared to the predecessor the VEGA X has a faster top sheet and a bit lower throw. This makes the rubber more suitable for plastic ball because speed became more relevant in table tennis.
When played actively the rubber shows its best qualities because of the very grippy surface. In this way the ball flight curve will be stabilized even in high speed counter topspin rallies. The topspin strokes become very consistent and thereby giving confidence to the player.
VEGA X, the masterpiece of VEGA's 10-year history.

The grip of the surface is a key factor for maintaining top performance. After each training session, clean it with a rubber cleaner and cleaning sponge to preserve its tackiness. Always use a protective film afterwards to prevent dust and oxidation, ensuring maximum grip for your next match.
